This is a must-attend event for those who are unfamiliar with the concept of "winter slumber" and those who love to party - regardless of the season, the weather or the conditions outside the window.
Joining the current line-up are Kaliber 44, which is celebrating its XXXth anniversary this year. Their concert will be both a visual and musical, as well as a sentimental journey to the early days of this cult lineup.
Also joining this year's lineup is SP:MC, who will support DJ Marky during the show, and MC Conrad, who is well-known to Szczyrk audiences. The latter has been effectively and consistently promoting underground music from the borderline of hip-hop and electro already in the early 90s. During SnowFest he will appear with the Polish pioneer of this genre and festival resident Ros Addiction.
The above festival names will be complemented by other festival residents and some of the longest running electronic projects on the scene - Last Robots: iRobot and Bert. Broken sounds will be presented by Mike Fate, who has Polish roots but lives in Ireland by day, where he organizes an event called Evolution. The audiovisual setting and appropriately high visual experience will be taken care of by Visualism, which has been elevating visual art to the highest level for years.
Also appearing at the festival will be the previously announced and mentioned: Rudimental, whose songs regularly land at the top of the charts, RΓΆyksopp, a Norwegian group with such hits , such as: "Poor Leno," "Sparks," "Eple" and "So Easy." Broken sounds will be served up by Delta Heavy, a duo that debuted in 2009 and was quickly noticed by the legendary RAM Records label. A representative of the Brazilian music scene and also a legend of the drum`n bass genre - DJ Marky - will appear in Szczyrk for the first time. Fans of house sounds will be pleased by the presence of Gerd Janson, who is appreciated not only for his musical versatility and almost encyclopedic knowledge of music, but also for his DJ skills and excellent sense of the dance floor. There will be a strong representation of Polish artists, as PRO8L3M, who just a month ago released a new CD "PROXL3M' announcing a new tour as part of which they will also appear at SnowFest Festival, will come to Szczyrk. The whole is completed by Lordofon and Swiety Bass, who will also warm up the Szczyrk audience.
The biggest celebration of music and sports is fast approaching, so don't wait any longer and start planning now for early March, as tickets from the first pools have sold out ahead of time (a limited pool of Late Regular passes is now available).
