She is one of the hottest names on the club scene. Paula Tape, or rather Paula Soto Carmona, was born and raised in Santiago, Chile. As a teenager, she played drums in heavy metal and electro-indie bands, but in college she became interested in how to DJ.
Quickly, with her eclectic style, she became a very successful producer and moved to Europe - today she lives in Barcelona and Milan. Paula Tape has releases on renowned labels Rhythm Section and Future Classic. She organises the very popular Hola Mundo events. She is also the first Chilean to host a show on BBC Radio 1. In autumn 2024, this British station invited her to record the prestigious Essential Mix. This will be her debut at SnowFest Festival.
